Roanni Castro joined The Groom House with over 20 years of prior experience in the hair grooming industry. Her work history includes training with Jacques Dessange and Jean Louis David. And with lessons from these masters, she got her skills in French Cutting Technique.
Roanni says she developed her passion for men’s grooming while she was employed at John Allan’s salon for seven years. Now that she is with Groom House, her passion has escalated to stupendous heights, and she is implementing her artistic vision on clients. She added an extraordinary set of barbering skills that Groom House had needed for a long time.

She is a perfectionist in the best way. Jenessa believes that individuality and attention to detail are the keys to customizing styles for each of her clients. Whether you are coming in with a major change in mind or just want to enhance your current style, you should feel at ease knowing you are in her most capable hands. She takes the time to listen to her clients and to show them what will work best based on their hair type. She will educate you on how to recreate your look at home.
Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Jenessa is a die-hard Packers fan…so feel free to bring up football while you’re in the chair. After completing her degree at Aveda, she moved to New York with a different path in mind. While finishing up her BA at NYU, she started working at a barbershop focusing solely on cutting. Though a barbershop wasn’t her speed, the art of cutting was. Jenessa found instant gratification whenever she picked up her scissors; creating her version of a masterpiece each time she cut. She found a men’s salon that catered to her passion honing her scissor-over-comb skills. Jenessa cultivated her own clientele and began training new stylists. After 7 years in New York, Jenessa found her niche with men’s short hair and was ready to take the next step to go out on her own. That’s how Groom House came to fruition.

Natasha is a New York based hairstylist with a passion for cutting men’s hair. She specializes in scissor-over-comb with almost 20 years of experience in different types of hair salons. She has developed a strong foundation in connection with the clients and giving them a hair style they need.
Throughout her career, Natasha has achieved success in cutting men’s hair by working at Spiff for men and John Allan’s. She is known for being a good listener and communicator when it comes to a hairstyle, which have allowed her to make her clients feel very comfortable in her chair.
When not working, Natasha enjoys yoga, reading, being involved in outdoor activities and local communities. She finds inspiration in learning new things and traveling to new places.

Nadia is originally from Bulgaria. With over 25 years of experience, Nadia loves the beauty industry and her craft because she believes that through it, she can make you feel and look your best. She has worked both on the East and West Coast for over a decade in each place. It’s back in California that she fell into a role as a female barber in a prestigious barbershop and realized she was absolutely in love with the grooming aspect of the industry.
She believes in education and is always learning new techniques. She wants to transfer her knowledge to her guests so that they can achieve their desired look at home. She believes in sustainability and clean products and aims at teaching her guests how to achieve their hair goals with the healthiest product available. Being trained with various prestigious names in the industry Nadia specializes in scissor over comb, creating textured, customized styles that fit your personality and lifestyle.
