“I wanted to build the place I always wished existed, somewhere a man could sit down, switch off, and leave feeling genuinely looked after.”
The Groom House began with a simple belief: men deserve more than a rushed chair in a loud barbershop. Founder Jenessa De Alwis set out to create a true grooming sanctuary in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, where every haircut, shave, and treatment is considered, personal, and restorative.
From the calm of the room to the care in every detail, the whole experience is built around how men actually want to be groomed, and how they want to feel walking back out.
